Regional Festivals for Aspiring Choirs

Welcome to CODA Concerts, an extraordinary festival experience designed to elevate your choir’s performance and celebrate musical excellence. Each participating choir will receive dedicated solo stage time at a prestigious venue, with recorded observations from our esteemed faculty panel of nationally-acclaimed conductors. Clients can choose either a competitive track, where they will compete against other ensembles, or opt for a non-competitive track, focusing on solo stage time without the competition aspect. Choirs will be awarded a festival plaque to commemorate their participation, concluding with an exciting Awards Ceremony and Final Concert, featuring the top winners and a combined festival chorus, offering a thrilling culmination to this enriching experience.

Optional Participation in Combined Festival Chorus
Inclusions
1.
Every participating choir receives solo stage time at a prestigious venue. That performance will receive recorded observations from our faculty panel of nationally-acclaimed conductors and each group will receive a festival plaque for their choir room.
2.
Every participating choir receives a 20-minute clinic with one of the adjudicators after their performance.
3.
Each participating ensemble may elect participation in a combined chorus that prepares a piece conducted by one of our guest faculty.
4.
Each ensemble may elect to have their performance entered into a competition with other participating choirs. Trophies will be given for the following:
- Gold – Outstanding Ensemble
- Silver – Runner Up
- Bronze – Third Place Finish
Commendation certificates will be awarded for:
- Most adventurous programming
- Outstanding soloist
- Outstanding accompanist
- Most engaging ensemble performers (text characterization and facial expression)
- Attendance and support of other choir performances
- Professionalism in stage appearance (entrance, exit, demeanor between pieces)
5.
The festival will conclude with an Awards Ceremony Final Concert featuring Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners in performance, a guest choir, and the festival chorus of combined choirs who elect participation
